News:
Thurs 14th September:
Andrews have a new Neoplan 14metre Euroliner registered (YN06 FTX) in full fleet livery. They have also had a 14 metre Setra on demo. Thanks Ian.

Arriva Derby

News:
Fri 24th:
The new coaches for the National Express contracts arrived on Wednesday.
Citybus 4342 is having the lower deck repainted (like 4335).
A coach is here for National Express is 3201 (YJ55 KZS). New coaches are expected too. Thanks Richard.
Olympian 4631 has been repainted.

Mon 20th:
Citybus 4341 joins Scania 23 at Ascot Drive. where they are being used as "engineers training tool".
The National Express contracts have been put back. They are now expected to start from around the 27th Nov. The new coaches are expected anytime now.

Tue 7th:
Olympian 4625 has been repainted. Thanks Richard.

Fri 3rd:
3 Scania’s with Caetano Levante bodies are due at Derby "soon" for gained National Express contracts, they are:
3211 (FJ56PCX)
3212 (FJ56PCY)
3213 (FJ56PCZ)

In addition Fox County gain the following 2 for their NX operations:
3214 (FJ56PDK)
3215 (FJ56PDO)

Citybus 4341 (B141 GAU) has been withdrawn. Thanks Richard.
Old DCT Scania 23 (E23 ECH) is still at Ascot Drive, but needs a new gear box. It is being used as a engineerers training tool, and for spares.
Tue 24th October:
Olympian 4665 has returned - and has been repainted and had a new tree guard fitted. Citybus 4341 is now restricted to schools (not due a repaint!) Thanks Mr "Eagle Eye".

Sat 14th:
4 new coaches are expected at Ascot Drive for use on National Express workings.
Olympian 4639 has been repainted, pic on the photo site. Thanks Richard.

Sightings:
Fri 1st Dec:
Dart 2198 on route 38, and Olympian 4641 broke down twice during the day, being replaced by 4336 on the 45 at about 1pm. It then broke down on the Morledge at about 5ish.
Citybus 4349 on the 68, 4327 on the 61, and rocket 4324 on the 26 (after a lorry crashed into a DAF). 3605 replaced it later.
Chellaston Dart 2233 on route 20.

Thurs 30th Nov:
Citybus 4328 on route 68, Rocket 4324 on the 45.

Wed 29th:
Dart 2235 on the 22 & Olympian 4626 on the 38 to Sinfin.

Tue 28th:
Arriva liveried coach 3205 (P205 RWR) was on a National Express working from Derby at around 6pm today.
Olympian 4625 on the 68B to Melbourne. Thanks Richard.
Volvo 3604 on the 22, 3605 on the 24. Excel 2999 on the 61. Thanks Chris.
Pride Park & Ride Dart 2216 on route 19 for the last trip.

Mon 27th:
Excel 2999 on the 61, MPD 2224 on the 111 PP&R.
Dart 2234 and Volvo 3604 on the 37/38.

Sat 25th:
3604 on the 109,3605 on 26 and Dart 2226 on the 111 PP&R.

Fri 24th:
4348 on the 45 following the failiure of Olympian 4641.
DAF's 4737 and 4743 were on Sinfin services this afternoon, and 4743 did a trip to Melbourne on the 68 complete with a dodgy destination blind.
3604 and Olympian 4625 were on the 24, and 4627 did a trip on the 61 due to heavy traffic.
MPD 2224 on the 111 PP&R before being replaced by Excel 2999.

Thurs 23rd:
Chellaston Dart 2235 on the 24, and 2237 on the 19.
Excel 2998 on the 111 Pride Park & Ride (2216 off) and 2999 on the 109.
Citybus 4345 did at least one trip on the 68 to Melbourne.

Wed 22nd:
Citybus 4323 was on route 19 before being replaced by Chellaston Dart 2233. Thanks Chris.
Olympian 4643 on the Chellaston routes this morning, and an Excel on the 111 PP&R. Thanks Rich.

Tue 21st:
An East Lancs Dart was towed away down Victoria Street at about 15:45. Thanks Chris.
Excels 2998/9 on the 111 PP&R (one off the 19). 3604 on the 24, 3605 and 2227 on the 20. 2089 on the 36.

Mon 20th:
Dart 2227 on the 111 PP&R, 2237 on the 109 to Ashbourne.

Sat 18th:
Excel 2999 on the 60's, 2998 on the 20, Dart 2089 on the 29 and Citybus 4328 on the 45. Thanks Rich.

Fri 17th:

Chris reports Darts 2089 and 2090 on route 29 along with East Lancs Dart 2197! 2089 was later on route 20.

Thurs 2nd:
Citybus 4321 on route 22 and 4328 on route 24. Both were off by mid afternoon.
Dart 2090 on route 29.
Burton garage had route 6 branded Dart 2319 on the X38 in the afternoon. Thanks Chris.

Wed 1st:
Citybus 4345 did at least one trip on the 68A to Melbourne. Thanks Chris.

Tue 31st October:
Olympian 4665 was on route 26 today, looking very smart after its recent repaint.
Chris reports Dart 2090 on the 33, and Volvo B10BLE 3605 on the Chellaston routes. Olympian 4630 and a DAF were on the Sinfin routes too.

Mon 30th:
Dart 2229 on the 111 Pride Park & Ride. Volvo B10BLE 3605, and Olympian 4639 on the Sinfin routes. Thanks Chris.

Mon 30th October:
Dan reports Volvo (V708 GRY) on the Black Cat. it was later swapped for Dart (X711 GJU) after the Volvo had a problem with the door (wouldn't shut).

Glovers

News:
Sat 25th November:
Dart (AIG 4698) is now in the standard livery.

Fri 27th October:
A recent arrival here is Volvo B10M/Plaxton Caramount coach (G945 JPW), from local operator Hulleys of Baslow. Thanks Ian.

Weds 18th October:
Former Stagecoach Dart (J506 GCD) has been re-registered (AIG 4698) and now carries an interesting livery. See the updated Glovers fleet list page. Thanks Phil.
Chris Gaskin reports some new arrivals to the fleet. (OIB 5401) is a Royal Tiger Doyen in all over white livery. It was new as (D892 PNB).
(G794 RNC) is a Leyland Tiger with Duple bodywork and is also white. This was new to Shearings.
The third and final one, is (F869 RFP) a Volvo B10M with Plaxton Paramount body. This is a former Hollinsheads of Stoke on Trent vehicle, and still carries their red and cream livery, although Glovers fleet names have been applied. It was new to Dunn Line.

Harpurs Coaches

News:
Fri 24th Nov:
Two former Eastbourne buses Alexander bodied Olympians (G362/3 YUR) have arrived here. Both were new to Armchair of London, and still carry the dark blue Eastbourne livery.

Mon 31st July:
Metrobus (B287 WUL) is now withdrawn, and is being used for spares.

Hawkes Coaches

Sat 25th Nov:
A new coach here is (BF03 HOF) from Hellyers, Fareham - who went bankrupt last month. It is still in the former owners livery. Thanks Duncan.

Fri 24th April:
Coach (NBZ ****) has got new black coloured fleet names on the white livery, as has one of the other coaches.

Hulleys of Baslow

Sun 29th:
The new Solo has arrived and is number 10 (MX56 ACF). It is the 7.8M version (B28F) with a Mercedes Euro 3 engine. Thanks Ian.
The former no 10, Volvo B10M/Plaxton Paramount coach (G945 JPW) has been sold to local operator Glovers of Ashbourne.

Wed 22nd:
The Metrovan has been on the 9 for most of the last 2 weeks. It now has no destination blind as this has been put in the Solo!

Fri 3rd:
The Solo (MX04 VLV) now has route branding for route 9. Photo on the photo site, in Littles section.

Fri 27th Oct:
The Metrorider is still here! On route 9 today in place of the Solo.

Midland Classic

News:
Fri 24th November:
John reports another Dart here, former Arriva Cymru Dart (J315 XVX). It still carries Arriva livery.

Mon 13th November:
The WMPTE Titan (WDA 4T) has returned, and the Metrobus (TOJ 592S) is being repainted!

Fri 20th October:
The Olympian expected here shortly is (C184 YBA), which was new to GMPTE. Thanks John

Sat 2nd Dec:
DAF SB220/Optare Delta (RIB 7017), and DAF coach (1294 RU) have both been withdrawn. They have been sold to Arriva Bus and Coach (dealer).
Acquired is another coach, (Y1 WCT), a Volvo B10/Van Hool that has come from West Midlands operator Wicksons, Brownhills.
Varios (R933 AMB) and Route 46 branded (Y161 HWJ) have been repainted all red.

Mon 27th Nov:
Former Orbital Link Solo (V198 KNB) has been repainted into the standard red livery.

Mon 13th Nov:
Adrian reports another new Solo here: (YN56 OWP). Another Centro is on order too.

Mon 30th Oct:
Former Fox County Scania 4143 (H803 RWJ) has arrived here via Ensign. Thanks John.

The new Solo here is (YN56 AHY), and was on the 33 (Orbital Link) today. A 2nd new Solo is due here too.

News:
Sat 2nd Dec:
Notts + Derby Excel 152 needs a new gear box. It has been towed to Langley Mill.
Solo 447 is back at Meadow Rd in trent barton livery. Dart 933 is also now based at Meadow Rd.
Kinchbus Titan 770 (WYV 51T) has turned up in a dealers yard in Perth - in Western Australia!!
Ilkeston Flyer Dart 926 is back in service.

Tue 28th Nov:
Solos 405, 414, 447 & 457 all reported at Langley Mill for repaint.
Solo 403 is back at Sutton after being repainted into Trent Barton livery.
Dart 933 is meant to be on loan to Derby.
Ilkeston Flyer Dart 926 is to have a new engine fitted, after it seized up on the way to Ilkeston the other day!

Wed 22nd:
Tempo 306 is now in service on the Rainbow 5, painted up in the purple livery for thsi route.
Dart 937 is on loan to Nottingham.
Dart 935 is on loan to Derby/Belper. It is being used as a shuttle bus on the sixes 6.1, as part of the route is being cut out due to roadworks north of Belper (Blackbrook). 6.1's are now running from Duffield to Wirksworth direct.
Solo 401 has been repainted into trent barton livery. 403 is at Langley Mill for repaint.

Fri 17th:
Vario 284 is on loan to Kinchbus! It carries N+D names on trent buses livery. Thanks Andy.
Tempo 306 is now reported in the paintshops at Langley Mill. It is due out later next week. Thanks Dave.
Excels 189 and 199 on both now on short term loan to Derby. Neither have destination blinds fitted.
Excel 253 is now allocated to Sutton, and 935/7 are now at Langley Mill. 933 is now based at Sutton.
Former Trent Leopard/Alexander T Type 109 (PRA109R), which was for sale on e-bay has been sold for preservation to the Chesterfield 123 Group and was collected yesterday. It was bought for £1800 and is now at its new home, Stagecoach's Stonegravels, Chesterfield depot.

Wed 15th:
Optare Tempo 306 is at Langley Mill awaiting new body panels, before it is repainted into R5 livery.
Excel 252 has been repainted into trent barton livery.
Dart 937 and Excel 189 have both moved to Langley Mill, after being on loan to Nottingham.
College Paladin 121 and Solo 447 are back in service after having repairs following accidents. Sixes Scania 691 is still off though.

Wed 8th:
Scania 618 had it first day on the Radcliffe Line yesterday, for which it is now branded for. Excel 189 and Dart 937 are on loan to Nottingham. 189 has no destination blinds in (and has appeared on route 18 and R5). 937 hasn't been used yet as it is being serviced. Thanks Dave.
The last bus that carried Barton names, Dart 916, has returned to Nottingham in trent barton livery. thanks Paul

Mon 6th:
Scania 618 reported at Manvers St in Radcliffe Line livery. Tempo 306 is expected to be painted purple for the Rainbow 5 in exchange.
Frio Excel 201 has had the accident damage repaired. The front end has been resprayed pink, and it is operating out of Langley Mill, on route 21 today.

Wed 1st:
Unibus Lance 363 is reported to be sold to Go Goodwin, Eccles, joining 355/6.
Excel 253 is on loan to Sutton whilst 252 is off for repaint.
Former Trent Leyland Leopard/Alexander T Type 109 (PRA109R) is for sale on ebay!
Kinch Olympian 720 has turned up at meadow Rd garage. Has been parked on the car park for a few days. 153 remains in the garage. R2 Scania 648 TP coach 56 & Excel 234 were amongst other in there this morning. Thanks Jim.

Mon 30th October:
R5 Scania 618 is apparently being prepared for repaint at Langley Mill - for the Radcliffe Line! 306 is expected to go purple for the R5 at some point too, to replace 618 and allow the Tempo to be tested on the R5!
Sutton Excel 252 is in Langley Mill for a repaint.
The final bus that carried the Barton fleet names, Dart 916, is reported at Langley Mill for repaint.
Frio Excel 201 is also at Langley Mill, for accident repairs, after its mishap on the transpeak as few weeks back?
Excel 233 was towed back to Meadow Rd from Belper garage, after water was put in the fuel tank. The coolant tank on Darts and Scanias is in the same position as the fuel tank on Excels! So if your a bit careless and can't read :) lol
Excel 900 is back at Dove Holes working for Trent.

Fri 27th:
Sixes Solo 419 and one of the Scania had a collision at Matlock on Wednesday.
Kinch Vario 288 is currently at Meadow Rd.
The refurbished Route 15 Solos start running on Sunday.

Villager Dart 944 broke down during the morning in Derby City Centre. Dart 930 was the replacement. Thanks Chris.

Frio Excel 199 on the RA, and 934 on Amberline.

Wed 8th:
Chris reports that sixes Scania 684 and 691 are off with accident damage. Spare Scanias 665 and 667 are covering, with 665 today on the 6.1/4/X.
Dart 930 replaced Solo 448 on the V2. Excels 233/4 on Mickleover. Scania 669 on R5.
Hucknall based Vario 298 working from Derby on route 70 today.

Tue 7th:
Frio Excel 199 reported on the RA, along with coaches 62 and 63. Scania coach number 70 broke down on the A52 this morning.
Excel 233 on the Mickleover, 234 on the Ilkeston Flyer! Scania 667 on the sixes 6.2 once again. Dart 930 on the V1/3. Scania 669 on the R5.
Dart 949 on Amber line, and Paladin 109 on the Derby College Shuttle.

Mon 6th:
Chris reports: Excels 233/4 on the Mickleover, and coaches 62/3 on RA.
Excel 199 and Dart 930 on the V2. 946 on Amber Line, 457 on H1.
Olympian 716 on the 73. Scania 667 on the old R62 and Asda Paladin 117 on the Derby Colllege Shuttle. Thanks Jim

Fri 3rd:
Dart 930 on the Allestree, and Scania 665 on Harlequin.
Excels 233 and 234 on the V1/3. 199 replaced 234 later on.
667 on the 6.2, 457 on H1, and 949 on Amber Line.
Unibus Lance 366 on the X17. Both of the Derby College buses were took off today. 161 broke down (again) and 121 had a minor accident. Olympian 716 was one of the replacement buses. Thanks Chris.

Thurs 2nd:
Excel 199 on the Mickleover. It later replaced a Coach on the Allestree!!
Buxton Unibus Paladin 106 on Derby Uni route 6, and Scania 667 was on the 6.2.
Chris reports 404 on the 9.2, Dart 930 on Allestree.

Weds 1st:
Excels 199 and 233 on Allestree.
Scania 665 on Spondon Flyer, 667 on 6.2 Solo 448 on HQ to Heatherton.
Chris reports Unibus Lance 364 on the 73 to Weston on Trent, Paladin 105 on the Masons Place college shuttle, and Scania 669 on the Rainbow 5.
Perry reports Dart 895 on the Rainbow 3 (route B) and Excel 253 on the Calverton Connection.
Jim reports coach 63 on the TP, Solo 466 on the H1 and Unibus Paladin 106 on the 73.

Tue 31st October:
Langley Mill Dart 946 was on loan to Derby today. It replaced Solo 447 on The Allestree which was took off due to accident damage. Excel 233 also on this route.
Excel 234 was on the Mickleover, and Frio Excel 199 was on The One for a while. Coach 62 on the RA. Thanks to Chris Gaskin for todays sightings.
Excel 253 on the Calverton Connection then joined Dart 904 on the Rainbow 3. Thanks Perry.
