Mon 12th March:
Leyland National (FTN 697W) has arrived here for rail replacement and school contracts. It was new to Northern General, and then Southern Transit
(whose red and yellow livery it currently caries). It has more recently spent time in preservation. Thanks Ian.

Sat 21st March:
Minibus 1387 has returned after repairs! 1160 and 1164 have moved on.
Tues 10th March:
Burtons X38 Dart 2999 was off today. Town linx Dart (P319 HOJ) covered until the speedo broke, when L809 BNX) was sent out.
Mon 26th March:
Dale Tringham has found Derby Fleetline (MTV 310W)!! It was hidden on a side street near the airport in Stoughton. it still carries the red livery which was applied when it was at Roberts.

Fri 23rd March:
Not DCT, but former Trent Dart 929 (R929 RAU) has moved to Arrivas Burton garage, and is numbered 2200.
Arriva will use it on the X38 (Derby to Burton) service, for which Trent already had it branded.

Tue 3rd April:
New coaches here are Scania K114EB / Irizar Century (YN56 NNO), and Scania K114EB / Irizar PB (YN56 NNP). Iveco EuroRider / Beulas (Y2/3 JBT)
have been sold to Scania, Worksop in part exchange, being re-registered as (Y958/65 RKW) in the proccess. The two new coaches are both in the blue Johnsons livery.
4 Optare Spectras have arrived here from Go Gateshead, (K306/7/9/16 FYG). (K316 FYG) is now in Redferns green livery.
They are needed due to extra school contracts being gained, and more are likely to follow.
Former Oxford Tube MAN 24.350 / Jonckheere Monaco (T617 DWL) (ex T55 UBE, and latterly running as Bluebird Buses 50055 in Megabus livery) was acquired from Plaxton in March.
This bus will be re-registered (T3 JBT), the plate coming from a withdrawn Neoplan Cityliner which is now withdrawn.

Thurs 26th March:
The former Chesterfield Transport Spire Sprinters (Mercedes 811 / Alexander) (J21xAET), that are currently with Stagecoach Chesterfield
are to be fully withdrawn within the next few weeks. These are 41714/5/6/7/9 in the fleet. Thanks Dave.
6 buses are on order for Mansfield for new services from Nottinghamshire to Doncaster Robin Hood Airport. These are 2 Enviro 400s, and 4 Enviro 200 single deckers.
All are due by the end of May when the new services start. The services will be run under contract to Nottinghamshire Councy Council - who will own the buses.
Roadcar (Stagecoach Lincolnshire) Olympian 604 (OWG 604X) is currently based at Mansfield - still in Roadcar livery! There is also a decker in
old Lincoln green livery, for 75 years of "Lincolnshire roadcar". This was in Mansfield garage, so i assume this is also in use here.
Dan reports a coach branded for a Fife-Edinburgh-Glasgow service in Mansfield too!
Former Chesterfield Dennis Dart/Alexander Dash pair (J506/7FPS) have not seen use in Chesterfield in recent months. The buses have instead been re-allocated to the former Terrier fleet in Sheffield, and have been working there recently.
(J506 FPS) was noted working service 123 in Sheffield Wednesday. Thanks Dave.
Fri 23rd March:
Dart 32115 (K115 SRH) has been scrapped due to its poor condition, it apprantly it required a new engine, gear box and chassis!
What wasn't wrong with it?! 32116 (K116 SRH) could be next for the chop, for similar reasons.

An unbranded 04 plate Dart on the 51, whilst sister bus 34576, branded for the 51 route, worked the 25!

Dave reports: Unbranded Solo (YN06 UGY) is now fixed and was on the 3.
More Olympians on 77's today - only Trident noted was 18126 of Chesterfield depot - At least 2 Worksop Olympians standing in again.
Volvo B10M / N.Counties Paladin (R721 RPY) today on service 25.
The 727 was also worked by a P reg Olympian.
Thurs 19th April:
Olympian 16497 (P152 KWJ) on route 77. Volvo 20442 (L342 KCK) on route 90 to Stavely. Olympian (P158 KWJ) on the 727! Thanks Chris.
Dave reports: Excel (P333 ABC) back out on the road again, although it is making some rather strange noises, and
Dart SLF (X841 HHE) was standing in for an Excel II on the 54.
Volvo B10M / N. Counties Paladin (M715 KRH) on the 25 - this should be an SLF dart or Excel.
Volvo B10M / N. Counties Paladin (R720 RPY) on the 50 - this again should be an SLF Dart or a Paladin.
Plenty of Dennis Tridents off the road - at least 2 Worksop (S16x RET) Olympians standing in and a Chesterfield Olympian standing in for these. The only ones I saw were a very sick sounding 18123 and one of the Chesterfield pair.

Olympian 16469 (S169RET) on 77, and two of the new 56 Darts on the 54 - one of them being 35262 (YN56SHJ).

Fri 30th March:
A further 6 VDL / Plaxton Centros are on order - making a total of 14 in the fleet.
Dart/UVG (R562 UOT) has been sold to Lincolnshire firm Cavalier Travel, Long Sutton.
(R83 GNW) shuuld be the next one off once the next Centro arrives, it is sold already even though it's still in service.
(R561 UOT) and DAF/Paladin (KUI 9267) will also be withdrawn soon.
Sun 25th March:
New VDL / Plaxton Centros here are (YJ07 JNN) in TM livery and (YJ07 JVC/E) in all over white livery. The white ons will be brandd for a tesco contract in Sheffield.

Mon 30th April:
The Cotgrave Connection Excels 213/4/5 are currently being refurbished and repainted into a new livery (turquoise),(213 still at Nottingham). Darts 935 and 937 and Excel 900 are on loan whilst these are away. The Excels should return in June.
The Keyworth Connection is to go yellow in August - when the P reg Darts will be replaced by Scanias (off Calverton Connection).
The Harlequin service in Derby is to run every 15 minutes from the begining of May. Solo 451 is away for refurbishment, but which bus will be the second vehicle?
Wed 25th April:
Red Arrow coach 70 has been sent away to Mitchells to have its gear box sorted out.
X38 Tempo 307 is to be sent to Optare to have accident damage repaired.
Tue 24th April:
Tempo 307 was involved in an RTA on Curzon St, Derby today.
Sutton Excel 252 is off with accident damage again.
Vario 299 remains at the Mercedes place on West Meadows Industrial estate, Derby.
Former trent Titan / PD2 (KCH 106) (ex Whippet,exGrey Green,exBig Bus London) is now with Amberley Museum. it is being used for site tours.
Sat 21st April:
Vecta 813 is now used on a farm in Etwall - as an educational exhibit.

The vehicle started with Trent in 1962, but was later used on overland bus trips from London to India! The bus is seen on the Khyber Pass in 1971.

Wed 4th April:
X38 Tempo 307 (YJ07 VSA) has now entered service (Dart 935 the 2nd bus today). No word on 308 (**** ***) yet.
Paladin 101 has lost Trent buses names and gained Notts + Derby logos.
Solo 437 is now in trent barton livery. It was the last to be branded for the Long Eaton Xprss.
One of the Kinchbus Vectas that are stored at Langley Mill is reported to have been sold as a non runner - for use as a shed or similar!
Sat 31st March:
Adrian reports that the first X38 Tempo to arive at Langley Mill is (YJ07 VSA). Fleet number 307??
Transpeak Coach 60 is at Langley Mill for a repaint into the new livery - it is the last one to be done.
The Harlequin (HQ) service is to have an increased frequency from the begining of May. Solo 401 will be transfering to Derby, and will be the additional bus for the service.
Dart 933 has transfered to Sutton in its place.
Dennis Lance / Optare Sigma 369 has returned to service after accident repairs. 366 will be the next one withdrawn, once Paladin 129 has been painted and
prpared for service.
Mickleover Excel 221 is at Langley Mill having Star Trak equipment installed.
Citybus 738 is to be kept for spares for 739!
Coach 62 is back in service after repairs.
Darts 934 and 946 have at times been on loan to Derby from Langley Mill during this week.
Sat 24th March:
Dennis Lance / Optare Sigmas 364/5 (N364/5 VRC) have now left the fleet. They have been sold to UK TravelMaster, of Manchester, via Go Goodwins. Thanks Wes.
Rainbow 5 tempo 306 is back in service after accident repairs.
