Bowers have been operating services in the High Peak for over 50 years, having started up in 1952. Today, services are operated in the Buxton area, many of them tendered. Other services include the 58, Buxton-Macclesfield and the 442, Ashbourne-Buxton. Other services are operated to New Mills and Glossop. A lot of school, college and Unibus (High Peak) contracts are undertaken as well. The coaches are used on private hire and excursions, although coaching has been reduced quite a bit recently. The company is now part of Centrebus.
