Optare Solo J1 (J01 AOT) and ADL Enviro 200 J19 (J19 AOT) and J23 (J23 AOT) are the latest vehicles to be repainted into Andrews livery.

ADL Enviro 200 J25 (J25 AOT) and Optare Solo J31 (J31 AOT) have now been repainted into Andrews livery.

Andrews has been assisting with the recent railway blockade at Stockport, which has another week to run, resulting in all rail services through Stockport being diverted or replaced with rail replacement road services. J15 ADL Enviro 200 (J15 AOT) is the first of the former Hulleys buses to be repainted into Andrews colour. A picture of which can be found on Andrews facebook page here

Optare Solo J1 (J1 AOT) is now in service this has been tracking in bustimes under J16 AOT.

A 25 plate ADL Enviro 200 MMC demo (YX25 DKX) has been on loan this last week.

A new arrival at Andrews is Optare Solo (MX07 BBN) previously of Archway Travel of Fleetwood. The solo has been re-registered to (A1 AOT) and is expected to become fleet member J1, when this enters service.

VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar Mark 2 3726 (MX59 JZJ) has now been transferred to Telford.

ADL Enviro 400 4419 (YJ58 FHH) was noted on Friday 9th at Derby Bus Station. Believe this is in Derby as another allocation to Ascot Drive.

Onmicity 3559 (YR58 SSK) is has return to traffic as of Wednesday 30th July. Likely due to vechicles being off the road at present.

The 2A and 38 are currently subjected to a diversion out of Derby, due a sink hole found outside COSMO on London Road by the Spot. Outbound buses are as same as inbound via Bradshaw Way with the addition of then going Lara Croft Way then up Babington Lane to serve the stops on Osmanton Road before resuming the usual route.

VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar 2 3707 (MX09 LXW) re-entered service this week having been off the road for 4 weeks.

At least 4 Wright StreetLite DF units have now been fully or partly fitted, ready for voice-over announcements to be implemented in due course.

ADL Enviro 400 4416 (YJ58 FHA) has arrived at Derby. New to Arriva Yorkshire as fleet no.1900. Most recently 4416 was in use in Telford. As part of 4416 arriving at Derby, VDL Pulsar Mark 2 3747 has been sent to Telford. 3747 (YJ59 BVK) having been new to Telford back in January 2010.

Last weekend the following Mark 1 VDL Pulsars arrived from Arriva Merseyside, 2924 (CX58 FZF), 2925 (CX58 FZG) and 2928 (CX58 FZK).
2924 and 2925 have entered service so far. 2924 tracking as SP DC and 2925 tracking as 2333 in bustimes.

Recently repainted Optare Solo 33 (YJ67 FZS) is passing Roundhouse college, having just departed Derby station heading to Willington on a road replacement rail service. This resulted from the reduced timetable owing to strike action by members of the RMT union at Cross Country.

A new arrival at Bus Link is former Metrobus Scania N270UD Omnicity Decker YP58 UGF, which has been repainted into Bus Link livery. Another 2 Omnicity decker’s are expected to follow suit from Metrobus.

Optare Solo 33 (YJ67 FZS) and Scania K230UB Wright Solar 77 (CN58 FFV) both now in Bus Link livery.

Recently introduced Optare Metrocity 20 (YJ68 FYM) is seen turning into Lichfield Bus Station on the final leg of a Lichfield City service.

ADL Enviro 200 MMC 539 (YX17 NKZ) has been reported as being repainted into Centrebus New livery, having previously been in Travel Telford livery.

Not inculded in this section but was under High Peak section is D & G ADL Enviro 200 593 (YY64 GWL) being on loan to High Peak.

New from Holmeswood is Optare Solo YJ16 DZP, being allocated fleet number 3015. 3015 has been repainted to the latest D & G livery and is being based at Macclesfield, entering service yesterday (Thursday 31st July).

Optare Solo 136 (YJ59 NNA) has been repainted to latest D & G livery.

Optare Versa 766 (YJ67 GBF) is back at High Peak following repaint. This has retained D & G branding.

Optare Versa 764 (YJ12 GVO) has been repainted into D & G livery.

To mark VJ day commemorations at the National Arboretum Park at Alrewas on Friday, two shuttle runs were set up.

One route headed between Alrewas Showground to the National Arboretum.
The 2nd route working from the Pirelli stadium (Burton Albion FC) to the National Arboretum.

Volvo B5TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 40613 (BF15 KFD) is having engine work done to it. 40613 has been off the road since June.

ADL Enviro 200's 31431 (YY67 USO) and 31432 (YY67 USF) have both returned from repaints into Brighter Diamond livery. This leaves 5 ADL Enviro 200's still in Midland Classic livery.

Wright StreetDecker Ultroliner 40837 (MX21 ATZ) is now at Redditch depot, joining 40826 and 40843.

Wright StreetDeck Ultroliner deckers 40826 (MX21 AUW) and 40843 (MX21 AVJ) have been transferred to Redditch depot.

Custom Denning Element 2 39008 (BX25 JDZ) and 39009 (BX25 JDU) have now entered service at Tivedale (Dudley) depot.
39008/39009 are expect to transfer to Burton once further charging equipment has been install at Wetmore Road garage.

Diamond has lost a signficant amount of School services as of the end of this school year.

ADL Enviro 200 31426 (YX12 DJD) has been off the road since last Friday.

The last ADL Enviro 400 40523 (SN11 BND) that was in Midland Classic livery has now been repainted to Brighter Diamond.

ADL Enviro 200 31429 (FL14 OBB) has been repainted into Brighter Diamond.

Mercedes Sprinter 15018 (WN74 YFM) has lost it advert wrap for linkup services in the Lichfield area.

Route 112 has now finished, with the road closure in Branston now lifted, allowing the 12 and X12 to resume their regular routes. One of the minibuses is likely to transfer away from Burton as a result.

Work on adding more electric charging infrastructure is likely at Wetmore Road over the summer. Some vehicles may be stored elsewehere over the summer, when there are no school services and a reduced pvr, to allow these works to take place.

40526 (SN11 BMV) is now in Brighter Diamond livery. This leaves just one ADL Enviro 400 in Midland Classic livery.

One of the first occurrences of a decker being used on Tutbury Jinty saw ALX 400 (LXZ 222) being used. Pictured heading down Bitham Lane, Stretton.

It is believed that the South Derbyshire restrictions issued by the Traffic Commissioner have been extended by one week to account for the end of the school year. This taking place before the rebranding to Evolve. If anyone can correct this please can get in contact.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinters Treka Mobility fleet numbers 136 (WX74 RCO) and 137 (WX74 RDO) have entered service on route 8 nicknamed Fox connect.

Former Arriva Mercedes-Benz Sprinter fleet number 147 (BF67 WFZ) has also entered service on route 9, which appears to be another new route.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (YG25 AAV) has joined the fleet in South Staffs dark grey livery.

Yutong TC9 (YK20 YRX) has joined the fleet and has been allocated fleet number 123. It carries plain white livery.

Volvo B11R KBZ722 (Number 1) has been sold to Major Coach Ways.

On Saturday 23rd Swift Wright Eclipse Urban 737 (FJ09 BXB) caught fire just after the Painters Lane island by the former Ashbourne aerodrome. It is expect the fire has written this vechicle off.

My 15 Optare Versa 804 (YJ11 ENH) caught fire just by Hemington Marina. 804 is certain to be a write off.

As a result Scaina L94UB Wright Solar 669 (FH05 TKK) has been transferred to Derby.

ADL Enviro 200 MMC 269 (YX67 VGF) was oberversed on Tuesday transferring from Langley Mill to Derby now back in the allestree livery.

Following accident repairs ADL Enviro 200 MMC 109 (YX17 NTK) has re-entered service with trentbarton at Nottingham on Saturday 24th August.

Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse Urban 733 (FJ09 BXN) is now in trentbarton livery, based at Langley Mill.

Optare Versa 820 (YJ12 PKA) and B7RLE Wright Eclipse Urban 724 (FJ58 KKT) both on loan from Langley Mill along with Optare Solo 503 (VD63 VDN - back off loan from Kinchbus) have all been at Derby at various points in the last 2 weeks.

Notts and Derby

Optare Versa 825 (YJ12 PKN) is now in Notts + Derby livery and back in service.

Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse Urban 742 (FJ09 XPA) has now gone for repaint into Notts + Derby livery.

Optare Solo 1202 (YN58 NDV) is now at Littles being assessed.

TM Travel

Optare Solo 488 to 490 are now at Langley Mill status given below.

488 FJ10 EHL - awaiting redeployment.
489 FJ10 EHM - Expected not to see further work due to blown engine.
490 FJ10 EHN - awaiting redeployment.

Kinchbus Optare Versa 831 (YD63 VCY) is now at TM Travel, Halfway with TM branding applied over Kinchbus livery. It is believed 832 (YD63 VCZ) is also at Halfway awaiting to enter service.

Essentially in short the loop which has been known for a lifetime will end with this. As a result of the change ADL Enviro 200 MMC 269 (YX69 VGF) is currently being repainted.

ADL Enviro 200 MMC 174 (YX20 OJS) has now re-entered service with trentbarton at Langley Mill.

Nines ADL Enviro 200 MMC 252 (YX66 WLZ) has been named Derbyshire United.

Reported that former Kinchbus ADL Enviro 200s 147 (YX20 OHB) and 148 (YX20 OHC) have gone in for repaint, for which route has not been confirmed yet.

Notts and Derby Optare Versa 825 (YJ12 PKN) has now been sent off for repaint.

Notts and Derby Scania OnmiDekka 41 (YN53 CEF) has now been withdrawn.

Ex South Wales Transport Coaches Volvo B7R / Plaxton Profile coaches BX11 GWA and BX11 GVA have been de-branded. It is expected these will get fleet numbers 57 and 58.

All of Kinchbus and the loan trentbarton 20 plate Enviro 200 MMC are now at Langley Mill, awaiting redeployment elsewhere within trentbarton.

All but 1 of the Red Arrow Volvo B11RT Plaxton Elite's are now at Langley Mill.

The Yutong GT12 and ADL Enviro 200 lists below have been updated with details of entry date to service and bus times live track link.

Just moving the list for the ADL Enviro 200 MMC and Yutongs GT12 that are due to enter service tomorrow to the top of the page. Next week update will put all the live trackers for the buses below.

All buses below are based at Loughborough.

Yutongs for Red Arrow / Spare: (Flixbus allocation can be under last Friday 4th July post).

All Red Arrow Yutong's to be based at Meadow Road, Derby.

Kinchbus's 25 plate ADL Enviro 200 MMCs for Skylink Derby are scheduled to enter service this coming Sunday 3rd August.

trentbarton's Yutong GT12s for Red Arrow are schedule to enter service this coming Sunday 3rd August.

Notts and Derby have acquired 2 former South Wales Transport Coaches Volvo B7R / Plaxton Profile coaches. These are now at Meadow Road and are as follows:

Volvo B11RT Plaxton Elite i 66 (SF62 CPV) has gone off for repaint into Notts and Derby livery.

It is believe that 1193 (YJ57 EHB) has been registered as B25 LTL. It is assumed this will become fleet number B25.

TM Travel ADL Enviro 400 1400 (YJ58 FHD) has entered service today on 252.

ADL Enviro 200 MMC 277 (YX23 OTA) is still on loan to Langley Mill, this saw use on TWO and my 15 on Tuesday.

Notts and Derby Optare Solos 468 (FJ09 MVS), 471 (FJ09 MVV) and 477 (FJ09 MWC) continue to be on loan for trentbarton at Derby over last few weeks.

The final Yutong GT12's for Red Arrow have now gone into the DVLA database therefore can confirm the 9 GT12 Registrations and fleet numbers. The list is now in the post above under Saturday 2nd August and has been updated accordingly.

Optare Versa's 811 (YJ12 PHV) and 820 (YJ12 PKA) were on loan to Derby on Wednesday 16th covering for ongoing shortages at Derby.

811 then went on loan at Nottingham on Thursday afternoon.

Kinchbus's new ADL Enviro 200s 346 (YX25 OFT) and 347 (YX25 OFU) enter service on Monday 14th July 2025.

346 and 347 introduction co-insided with the changes to the Loughborough network. Which has seen route 3 (Loughborough - Tynedale Road) become a Kinchbus route. To factilate this addation, route 2 and 3 have been diagramed to be interworked which has increased the peak vehicle requirement to 2 buses for the two services combined. Route 2 has been increase to hourly Monday to Saturdays from the previous every 80 minute frequency. In addation Route 2 now goes via Loughborough Central (GCR) station, Monday to Saturdays during daytime.

As all the Enviro 200s are now in the DVLA database alongside bus times data and photos that have been on the web. An update to both the Enviro 200s and Yutong tables has been inculded below.

Former TM Travel Scaina OnmiDekka 1176 (YN06 JYL) is currently up for sale through Barnsley trade deal.

Two brand new spare ADL Enviro 200 MMCs are set to enter service this week, with the introduction of new route 3 in Loughborough requiring more vehicles. They are part of a batch of ADL Enviro 200 MMCs due shortly for skylink Derby service.

On loan 9998 (BV72 KPF) has returned back to Volvo following the end of its trial with Kinchbus.

Yutong GT12 910 (YB25 ULR) has entered service helping on Flixbus services this week.

It is reported 927 (YB25 ULN) was involved in a minor shunt earlier this week, and has been off the road since.

The Yutongs for Flixbus services have now entered service, these are detailed below.

ADL Enviro 400 has arrived at TM Travel from Arriva Midlands (Ex Arriva Yorkshire in the form of Ex 1903 (YJ58 FHD). This has now been repainted into TM Travel Red. It is believed this will take fleet no. 1400.

ADL Enviro 400 1401 (HY61 BUS) has re-entered service on Monday 30th June in TM Travel Greener Bus following recent accident repairs.

Volvo B7RLE 732 (FJ09 BXM) has re-entered on Thursday 3rd July in trentbarton red, based at Langley Mill.

Scaina OnniDekka 40 (YN53 CEA) has been out of use since 10th June, it is unknown if this is a long term withdrawal.

Dennis Javelin 65 was involved in a RTC the other week and has been off the road since this time.

Scaina 674 (FJ55 AAO) has been withdrawn at TM Travel. It's last day in service being Tuesday 17th June.

One missed from May OnmiDekka 1175 (YN06 JYO) has been withdrawn at TM Travel last being used on Saturday 17th May.

Its whereabouts has been unknown since.

Solo 1193 (YJ57 EHB) is now at Littles in Ilkeston.

It is also reported that OnmiDekka 1176 (YN06 JYL) has been withdrawn. 1176 last being used on Thursday 26th June 2025.

Volvo B7RLE 724 (FJ58 KKT) was on loan to Derby from Langley Mill on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th July.
Other loans last week inculded Solos 468 (FJ09 MVS), 471 (FJ09 MMV), 497 (YJ12 NBF), 498 (YJ12 NAE), 499 (YJ12 NAO) and 502 (YD63 VDM).
Volvo BR8LE 780 (BD65 EWM).

Volvo B7RLE 717 (FJ58 KKL) was on loan to Derby on Monday 30th June to cover for ongoing shortages. Versa 811 (YJ12 PHV) helping for the daytime on Saturday 28th June on Allestree before being returned back to Langley Mill.

Solo 496 (YJ12 NBE) transferred from Langley Mill to Derby on Thursday 26th June.

Solo 1157 (YJ60 PFN) recently on loan at Hulleys of Baslow before there collapse, entered service with TM Travel on Tuesday 24th June 2025.

Solo 1169 (MX04 VLM) is current off the road again.

Versa 811 (YJ12 PHV) was on loan to Derby for the Day on Thursday 26th June.

Solo 502 (YD63 VDM) has been on loan back to trentbarton at Nottingham from Kinchbus.

Shortage on Friday 20th June lead to Versa 821 (YJ12 PKD) helping for the afternoon on Comet before being returned back to Langley Mill.

Versa 816 (YJ12 PJU) has been on loan to Nottingham from Langley Mill towards the back end of last week covering on mainline, indigo and 1 trip of calverton connect.
