Omnicity 3580 has moved to Wigston.
Dart 2252 is the second Dart to be repainted in the newer style livery.

16th June:
Dart 2237 has been repainted into the now standard inter-urban livery.

20th April:

Mercerdes 0814 Vario/Alexander 436 (R154 UAL) is a recent transfer here from Centrebus, Hinkley.
Another recent arrival is (L108 VDM), a Scania N113CRB/Alexander (B48F) in all over yellow. This was previously with Avon, Prenton.

Paladin (K123 BUD) has been re-registered (AIG 8338).
An Excalibur coach registered as (AIG 4114) is also now here. It has brown orange and yellow stripes in the livery! Anyone know its previous registration / history?

16th June
The new number 2 in the fleet is MAN / MCV EVOLUTION (AE05 EVC) from Alliance and Leicester (dealers rental fleet). It replaces (P881 PWW) which was written off in an rta last month.

Two new plaxton Panther bodied coaches to arrive here are (YN10 AAE) and (YN10 AAF). Both are in white and carry coachholiday.com branding.

A new direct service numbered X12 (Burton - Lichfield) starts on 6th September.
Former East London Dennis Trident 91 (V118 MEV) has arrived here via Southdown PSV.
Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer 24 (P409 BNR) has been repainted and re-trimmed, and gained fleet number 24.

Preservation News: Dennis Falcon (TWJ 340Y)

Dennis Falcon (TWJ 340Y) has been purchased by Daniel Shaw and Steve Crossland for preservation. The vehicle will be moving to Sheffield where it will be restored back to its original green and cream, and hopefully being ready for the middle of next year (2010). Express Motors also operated number 42 (TWJ 342Y) aswell as 40 and 41.

10 Low Floor Darts have arrived at Chesterfield. Some, maybe all, are likely to stay here to replace step entrance Darts and MK1 Excels. The following 10 buses have arrived:

33082 (P978 LNB), ex Dennis's, Dukinfield.
33083 (P979 LNB), Dennis's, Dukinfield.
33345 (R45 CDB), ex Mayne, Manchester.

33348 (R48 CDB), ex Mayne, Manchester.
33349 (R49 CDB), ex Mayne, Manchester.
34047 (R947 FOO), ex Stagecoach Selkent.

9th September
Additions to the fleet are: DAFs 26121-3 (X851-3 HFE) from Skegness. Similar 26124-6 (X854-6 HFE) are set to follow.
Olympians 16486/8 (N136/8 AET) have gone to Skegness.

4th September:
New arrivals with notts+derby are 4 Plaxton President Volvo B7TLs from London United. They are here for a college contract (this may only run until Christmas). The 4 are:
(W467 BCW),
(W475 BCW),
(W477 BCW),
(W*** BCW).

Excel 152 and Dart 933 have been sold to M Travel.
Former Kinch minibus (L809 CJF) is now with Clowes.

Coach 62 has been re-registered as (YRC 182). The reg is originally off a Tiger Cub, but was more recentlky carried on Trents tow truck. uck.
Paladin 132 now carries standard N+D livery.

One of TM Travels Plaxton Cheetah minibuses now carries notts+derby names (on TM livery). Apparently it has been like this for a while, but this week was the first time i noticed this!

Atlantean 571 has been saved. A date for the diary is Sunday April 11th, when 571 should be doing a tour, starting in Sheffield and covering routes to Matlock, Allestree, Mickleover, Derby and Melbourne! More details will appear on the events page soon.....

. 25th August:
Volvo coach 62 has been re-branded and refurbished for red arrow (former transpeak).

Recent TM Travel repaints are Excel 215, and former Lothian Olympian (P274 KSX).

The two Solos for the Doncaster Hospital Park and Ride are:
1166 (MX03 YDF),
1205 (YN04 XZC),
With the following as spare (in TM livery):
1206 (YJ56 WVN)

20th August:
Midland General have registered a new service between Nottingham and Cotgrave from the begining of October. The service is numbered 99P - i wonder what the fares will be like!

Excel 263 is the latest repaint into trent barton red for Sutton. Dart 916 has come off, but has been on loan to Sutton. Only Darts 918 and 949 remain in use at Sutton.

Olympian 723 (C723 NNN) has been exported. Darts 895, 911, 926 and paladin 115 are stored at Langley Mill (not sold).

Tiger Cub (YRC 185) is for sale on ebay, along with former Trent Vario (R279 RAU).

2nd August:
Dart 930 has been withdrawn.

Transpeak coaches 59 and 60 are expected to be repainted out of transpeak livery. Coach 60 is expected to be painted into red arrow livery as an additional vehicle, and fitted with a deluxe interior.

TM TRAVEL
Solo (YN04 XZC) has arrived from Docherty of Auchterarder. This and Solo 1205* (MX03 YDF) have been painted blue and white for a hospital park and ride service in Doncaster.

Another addition to the fleet is Solo 1206* (YJ56 WVN) from Southdown PSV. It previously saw service in Peterborough.

TM Solo (MX03 YCN) is one of two Solos that are branded for Chesterfields Orbital Link 33. Both Solos on the service carry red arrow adverts on the back, and through tickets have now been made available.

22nd July:
TM Travel Darts, 931 now painted, 899 painted and in service (carries fleet no 411!!). 896 is another tranfer to TM.

Dart 901 has been sold to Silcox, Pembrooke Dock (Wales).

D1 Park and Ride Excel and TP coach 59 are both off with serious engine issues!

5 new Scania Irizar coaches have arrived for the red arrow service, ahead of the route enhancements that take effect from 25th July. The frequency is being increased to every 10 mins between Derby and Nottingham and every 30 between Derby and Chesterfield. the five new coaches are:

72 (FJ10 OXM),
73 (FJ10 OXN),
74 (FJ10 OXP),
75 (FJ10 OXR),
76 (FJ10 OXS).

A shortage of available low floor buses at the end of last week, resulted in many Volvo Paladins being used on trents services. 127 was one such loan from the notts + derby subsidiary. It is seen here in Burton on the X38 service to Derby.

The last Trent Olympian (C723 NNN) is said to have been sold for preservation.

Dart 927 has been sold to Heartland Travel, Tamworth.

Kinch Dart 897 has been sold at auction to Midland Classic. Many other vehicles have been sold.

Solo 455 now painted in standard trent barton livery and based at Nottingham.
Solos 416 and 417 join 418 at Sutton. All three are painted in trent barton red.

Route news:
Red Arrow every 10 mins (Derby - Nottingham) and every 30 mins through to Chesterfield from July 26th.
Trent will run the 409 (Ashbourne - Uttoxeter) from September.
Service 241 may be cut back to Sutton (not serve Mansfield), but be extended beyond Clay Cross to Chesterfield. The route may be branded, and any changes would take effect early autumn.

The Unibus Paladins are gradually being replaced by Excels on the Unibus 6 service. 133 has been painted into standard notts+derby livery. It is seen here in Nottingham, on South Sherwood St.

Paladin 133 has been painted into standard N+D livery (was in unibus).

TM Solo (MX03 YCN) is now in a branded livery for Chesterfields Orbital Link 33. (MX03 YCP) is set to follow.
